About Skidia
Skidia is a pebble beach on Thasos, facing south. Land shelters it from winds from the north, the north-east, the east, the west, and the north-west, so those winds leave the water flat here. Winds from the south and the south-west arrive over open sea and raise waves when they are strong. A road leads to the beach and there is parking nearby. Within 300 m there are 1 taverna or restaurant. The sea is warmest in August, at about 26 °C. It is above 22 °C from June to September.
