About Pachia Ammos
Pachia Ammos is a sandy beach on Nisyros, facing east. Land shelters it from winds from the south, the south-west, and the west, so those winds leave the water flat here. Winds from the north, the north-east, and the east arrive over open sea and raise waves when they are strong. The beach is reached on foot, by a path. Nothing to eat or drink is mapped within 300 m, so bring water and shade. It is known as a naturist beach. The sea is warmest in August, at about 25 °C. It is above 22 °C from July to October.
