Tsonia is a sandy beach on Lesbos, facing east. Land shelters it from winds from the north, the south-west, the west, and the north-west, so those winds leave the water flat here. A road leads to the beach and there is parking nearby. Within 300 m there are 3 tavernas and restaurants and 1 bar or café. The sea is warmest in August, at about 23 °C. It is above 22 °C from July to September.
