About Golden Beach
Golden Beach is a sandy beach on Halkidiki, facing north. Land shelters it from winds from the south-east, the south, and the south-west, so those winds leave the water flat here. Winds from the north and the north-west arrive over open sea and raise waves when they are strong. A dirt track leads to the beach and there is parking nearby. Within 300 m there are 3 bars and cafés. A beach resort is on or next to the beach. The sea is warmest in August, at about 26 °C. It is above 22 °C from June to September.
