About Fira beach
Fira beach is a beach on Folegandros, facing west. It lies in a closed bay, sheltered from almost every wind. It looks west over open sea, so the sun sets into the water. The beach is reached on foot, by a path. Nothing to eat or drink is mapped within 300 m, so bring water and shade. It is known as a naturist beach. The sea is warmest in August, at about 24 °C. It is above 22 °C from June to October.
