Mikro Kavouri is a sandy beach on East Attica, facing west. Land shelters it from winds from the north, the north-east, the east, and the south-east, so those winds leave the water flat here. Winds from the south-west and the west arrive over open sea and raise waves when they are strong. It looks west over open sea, so the sun sets into the water.
